Getting Feedback and Making Changes

My dear friend Joe gave some awesome feedback on the proof copy. He was also kind enough to allow me to share it with you all: First I want to thank you for the opportunity to be one of the recipients of a proof copy of this book. Second, as someone who is not all that interested in poetry, I really enjoyed the poems, and resonated with some of them. Unlike how other poems use extensive allegories to allude to there meaning, the poems in The House on the Hill use common everyday language to allude to the point of the poem, while also keeping it close to the intended meaning. It is definitely more approachable to regular people than other poetry books. Finally, I would like to suggest adding an illustration to some of the pages that feel a bit empty. Joseph What is most interesting is that someone who doesn't like poetry much finds mine enjoyable. Maybe this book will help more people know the joys of verse. :) The illustrations are in the works. Every page will not get one, ...

IT CAME!

Our first order of The House on the Hill came today! It needs a few edits and will be distributed to our editing group for feedback, but it looks great! We are so excited to share this first of the Fables and Forests collection with you!

First Book

A proof copy of The House on the Hill , a chapbook of poetry written showing the love of the Father for nature, our families, and ourselves, has just gone to the printer. We should have it time for graduation day in May. :) Thank you to my sisters who helped me illustrate the cover. I am looking forward to what you all think of it.
